1. Custom Payment Methods

Boutir now offers the ability to process customer payments made outside of your online store by setting up custom payment methods. You can now accept payments through account numbers, payment links, or payment QR codes. Common external payment methods include FPS, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and more. When customers choose this payment option, you'll need to check the receipt and confirm the payment before proceeding with the order fulfillment.

• Once set up, customers will see the newly added custom payment methods during the checkout process:

Orders placed using custom payment methods will be marked as "Pending payment" on the order page. Upon receiving payment proof from the customer, the order status will automatically update to "Pending payment confirmation". You can then verify the payment and mark the order as paid on the order details page. Proceed with shipping the order as you would for other online payments.

2. Surcharges for Specific Payment Methods

To offer customers convenient payment options without shouldering high fees, Boutir now introduces the "surcharge" feature. You can now apply additional charges for specific payment methods, allowing you to pass on the costs to customers while offering flexibility.

You can choose to calculate surcharges as a percentage or a fixed amount:

- Percentage-based surcharges increase the total order price (including shipping fees) by the specified percentage during checkout.

- Fixed amount surcharges add a predetermined amount to the total order price during checkout.

• After setup, customers will see the applicable surcharges for each payment method during the checkout process:

3. Improved Product Sorting in Storefront Management

The products displayed on your website's homepage create the first impression for consumers. To enhance visibility and increase sales opportunities, you can now easily prioritize best-selling and flagship products in the storefront management interface. Previously, this feature was only available in the mobile app. With the enhanced interface, you can quickly place products at the top, move them to the top, or move them to the bottom of the product list, ensuring ease of use even with a large inventory.
